On September 24, Grays Chapel Elementary welcomed Anthony Grosch, RCSS Executive Director of Administrative Services for Students and Driver Education, who read to fourth-grade students as part of the district’s Leadership Reads program. RCSS leaders help inspire young readers and support literacy in the classroom.

On Tuesday, September 23, Andrea Foxworth, Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources, visited Archdale Elementary to read to students as part of the Randolph County School System’s Leadership Reads program. This initiative invites members of the central office Leadership Team to share stories with elementary students across the district.

United States Congressman Mark Harris visited John Lawrence Elementary School today to spend time with second and third-grade students. Congressman Harris read The Little Book of Government by Laurie B. Friedman and Zack Bush to the third graders, sparking a thoughtful discussion about government and his responsibilities as a U.S. Congressman. He also shared Those Shoes by Maribeth Boelts with the second graders, who listened attentively.
🎉 Congratulations to Randleman area teachers Caroline Nobles and Laura LeRoy on completing their Project Guided Language Acquisition Design (GLAD) training this week!
With this certification, they are now prepared to lead professional learning across our district, supporting ESL teachers as well as content-area teachers. Their work will help us continue building strong, effective instruction for our Multilingual Learners.

Dr. Gainey, Superintendent of Randolph County Schools, visited Farmer Elementary yesterday to take part in the district’s Leadership Reads program. Through this initiative, members of the central office leadership team visit elementary schools to share stories with students. Farmer Elementary first graders in Mrs. Gribble’s and Mrs. Markham’s classes were all smiles as they enjoyed hearing Dr. Gainey read The Leaf Thief by Alice Hemming.

What says "Welcome Fall" more than a Fall Plant Sale and Pork Loins?!
The Trinity FFA Chapter is excited to announce that the annual Trinity Fall Plant Sale will take place on Saturday, September 27th from 8:00a.m.-12:00p.m. at the Trinity Greenhouses. We will have mums, pansies, pumpkins, shrubs, trees, and decor made by the agriculture, mechanics and horticulture classes.
We are also excited to be selling Pork Loins that can be picked up at the Trinity Plant Sale. This will include a pork loin, sauce, slaw and buns for $40. You can pre-order your pork loin by replying to this email.
Lastly, you will want to get to the sale early as we will also be selling pork loin biscuits to enjoy while you are shopping our wide variety of plants and fall decor.
