Each January for the past twelve years, Superintendent Gainey has led a joint meeting of our school system’s leaders, County Commissioners, and Board of Education members to provide school system updates and preview budgetary needs for the next school year. This year’s meeting was conducted yesterday (January 13) in our central services boardroom.

On January 6, 2025, Dr. Gainey addressed seniors from High Point University who are preparing to begin their student teaching. He emphasized the significance of entering the teaching profession and encouraged them to consider becoming a part of The Randolph County School System.

RCSS School Nutrition Services prepares approximately 6,500 breakfast and 10,000 lunch meals for students each school day. The purpose of this survey is to gather feedback about our breakfast and lunch menus from parents, teachers, and staff. We will use this feedback to update our menus in order to enhance the school meal experience for our students.
