Congratulations to Southeastern Randolph Middle School for being named Randolph County Middle School Wrestling Champions this past weekend!

Tonight, Twelfth-grade student-athletes from Asheboro City Schools and the Randolph County School System were honored with "Sportsmanship" awards at the Randolph Sports Council Winter Banquet held at Black Powder Smokehouse in Asheboro. The event featured guest speaker Woody Younts, a retired educator and coach.

Congratulations to the Wheatmore Middle School boys who were co-champions for the regular basketball season and placed as the tournament runner up.

Congratulations to the Southwestern Randolph Middle School girls basketball team for their tournament championship win today! They were also the regular season champions.

Upcoming Randolph Community College CCP Open House Information

Due to the weather issues, the first day of the 2nd semester will now be the first day that the students return to school. A decision has not been made about tomorrow 1/24/25. When a decision is made, a call will go out and we will post on all websites and social media.

Each January for the past twelve years, Superintendent Gainey has led a joint meeting of our school system’s leaders, County Commissioners, and Board of Education members to provide school system updates and preview budgetary needs for the next school year. This year’s meeting was conducted yesterday (January 13) in our central services boardroom.

On January 6, 2025, Dr. Gainey addressed seniors from High Point University who are preparing to begin their student teaching. He emphasized the significance of entering the teaching profession and encouraged them to consider becoming a part of The Randolph County School System.
