Randolph County School System

Two groups were recognized during Tuesday's Apprenticeship Randolph event: the Class of 2025 graduates who successfully completed the program, and the newly selected apprentices preparing to begin their journey. The 9th Annual Signing and Graduation Ceremony was held in the Randolph Community College auditorium. Congratulations to both the graduates and the incoming apprentices—and a heartfelt thank you to the local business partners who make these opportunities possible.

Several RCSS high school students left this morning for a week long State Leadership conference at the NC FFA Center at White Lake.

Back to school bus coordinator meetings will occur at the same locations and dates above. Those meeting times will be 8:15am-9:30am.

Approved at the March 17 Board of Education meeting, Southeastern Randolph Middle School will adjust its schedule for the 2025–2026 school year. Start time stays at 7:50 a.m.; release time changes to 2:55 p.m. This aligns with district times and improves transportation.

NC Department of Instruction's Summer Multilingual/Standards Conference is underway. Educators from across the state learned from RCSS leaders Sam Colli-Chan, Laura Porcelli Luquet and Roxanne Taylor who shared copious strategies used with Multilingual Learners in the district.
