Tomorrow (1/26/26) is not a remote learning day for the RCSS. Tomorrow (1/26/26) will be our first day missed which is a built in weather day. We will not use the remote packets unless we use all five built in days. In the event we need to use a remote day, Dr. Gainey will state that on the alert call he sends out. Remote packets were sent home Friday (1/23/26) in the event we use all five days this week and need to start remote days next week.

Due to inclement weather and hazardous road conditions, all schools in the RCSS will be closed tomorrow, Monday (1/26/26).

📚💥 AP teachers make it iconic. 💥📚
Over the past week, our Advanced Placement (AP) teachers hit pause on the hustle for a mid-year check-in with Michelle Lourcey, Director of the NC AP Partnership.
High school teachers dug into North Carolina and Randolph County School System AP success from last year, analyzed their data like pros, explored powerful resources, AND blew bubbles and built with Legos (because excellence and joy can coexist 🫧🧱).
Refreshed, refocused, and ready to dominate the second semester—our teachers are officially back in action as AP champions. 🎓🔥
