Attached, you will find a few posts from NC FFA highlighting our wonderful program as well as showing off our well-known FFA spring plant sale. The plant sale become a highlight of our chapter, and also many programs across the state are taking notice of how we market, prepare, and plan for our plant sales. We are very proud of our students and excited to see our future grow.

On Tuesday, September 15, Honduras and Costa Rica celebrated their Independence Days! To recognize these special occasions, our 1st, 2nd, and 4th grade students represented Honduras, while our Kindergarten students represented Costa Rica. Students enjoyed learning about and celebrating a little bit of their teachers’ home countries, cultures, and traditions. Our hallways came alive with flags, torches, and smiles as our students enjoyed a mini parade celebrating the Independence Days of Honduras and Costa Rica! 🎉🌎 Students proudly represented these countries while learning about the rich traditions and customs that make each culture unique. It was a wonderful opportunity for our students to celebrate, learn, and share in the cultures of their teachers’ home countries. Celebrating culture, honoring traditions, and learning from one another—what a special way to bring our Hopewell family together! ❤️🌎.

It was a day of celebration, reflection, and looking ahead at Randolph Early College High School as students and staff gathered Thursday, September 3, for the school’s annual “State of the Union” address. The annual event provides an opportunity for the Randolph Early College community to reflect on the previous school year, celebrate student accomplishments and academic growth, and set a shared vision for the year ahead. This year, there was plenty to celebrate. During the 2025–2026 school year, Randolph Early College saw its test scores climb from 91 to an impressive 97—a remarkable seven-point increase that reflects the dedication, determination, and hard work of students and staff. But at Randolph Early College, success is not a reason to stop reaching. It is a reason to set the bar even higher. With the message, “97 was great. Now let’s elevate to 98!”, students and staff were challenged to continue pushing themselves, embracing opportunities to learn, and working together toward another year of academic achievement. The celebration was about more than numbers. It was about recognizing the people behind those numbers and the collective effort that made the growth possible. Students and staff enjoyed donuts, school swag, icy pops, and, most importantly, time together to celebrate their accomplishments and build excitement for the year ahead. The “State of the Union” served as both a celebration of how far Randolph Early College has come and a reminder that there is always another goal to pursue. With a score of 97 behind them and 98 in their sights, the Ravens are ready to soar even higher. It was a great day to be a Raven!

Level Cross Elementary School is kicking off the new school year with a reminder of the incredible support that exists within its school community. When the school asked families and community partners to help “Stock the Workroom,” the response was overwhelming. Families generously donated refreshing beverages, tasty treats, and other goodies to create a welcoming space where teachers and staff could grab a quick pick-me-up, recharge, and feel appreciated throughout the school day. While a snack or drink may seem like a small gesture, these thoughtful donations made a BIG difference for the staff at Level Cross Elementary. Each contribution served as a reminder to teachers and staff that their hard work and dedication are noticed and valued. “We are so grateful to our amazing families and community partners for their generosity and support,” said Level Cross Elementary staff. “Their thoughtfulness helped make our first day back a little brighter and showed our staff just how much our school community cares about them.” The “Stock the Workroom” effort is a wonderful example of the partnership between families, community members, and the school. It is that spirit of generosity and support that helps make Level Cross Elementary such a special place to learn and work. A heartfelt thank you goes to all of the families and community partners who contributed. Level Cross Elementary is stronger because of a community that continues to show up for its students and staff!
