We welcome teachers back tomorrow! It's going to be a great year!

The Randolph County School System is excited to welcome 30 new educators to the RCSS family during Beginning Teachers Orientation, taking place Monday through Thursday, August 10–13!
Throughout the week, our new beginning teachers will take part in sessions designed to help them get off to a strong start in the classroom. Topics include classroom environment, media and technology, support and evaluation, key policies and legal issues, Exceptional Children and ESL programs, testing and accountability, MTSS, and curriculum and instruction. They’ll also hear from RCSS leaders, experienced educators, and our 2025–2026 Teacher of the Year, Christy Hutchins.
The week will wrap up Thursday with beginning teachers spending time with their mentors at their respective school sites, getting acquainted with their schools, setting expectations, and preparing for the year ahead.

🎉 Congratulations to the Apprenticeship Randolph Class of 2026!
Randolph County School System is proud to celebrate the success of our students at Randolph Community College's and Apprenticeship Randolph's 10th Annual Signing Ceremony.
This year, 12 pre-apprentices signed offer letters to begin their apprenticeship journeys, and 7 of those students are from RCSS schools. In addition, 9 of the program's 14 graduates are RCSS students, demonstrating the impact of career-connected learning opportunities across our district.
For the past 10 years, Apprenticeship Randolph has connected education with industry by providing students the opportunity to earn a paycheck, gain valuable work experience, and complete a college degree while helping local employers develop the skilled workforce our community needs.
