The halls at Level Cross Elementary School were full of smiles and letter sounds last Thursday. Kindergarteners held a Letterland parade, marching past classrooms in bright costumes inspired by their favorite letter characters.
The children helped make the costumes with their families and teachers. Some wore paper letters, while others added colorful hats, tails, or wings.
The parade was also a fun way to practice letters and sounds. After the march, the classes gathered for a group photo and a cheerful round of applause. Their colorful costumes brought Letterland to life, one letter at a time.
Teachers said the parade helped students share their creativity and celebrate what they are learning. The kindergarteners returned to class still smiling.
