It was a day of celebration, reflection, and looking ahead at Randolph Early College High School as students and staff gathered Thursday, September 3, for the school’s annual “State of the Union” address.

The annual event provides an opportunity for the Randolph Early College community to reflect on the previous school year, celebrate student accomplishments and academic growth, and set a shared vision for the year ahead.

This year, there was plenty to celebrate.

During the 2025–2026 school year, Randolph Early College saw its test scores climb from 91 to an impressive 97—a remarkable seven-point increase that reflects the dedication, determination, and hard work of students and staff.

But at Randolph Early College, success is not a reason to stop reaching. It is a reason to set the bar even higher.

With the message, “97 was great. Now let’s elevate to 98!”, students and staff were challenged to continue pushing themselves, embracing opportunities to learn, and working together toward another year of academic achievement.

The celebration was about more than numbers. It was about recognizing the people behind those numbers and the collective effort that made the growth possible. Students and staff enjoyed donuts, school swag, icy pops, and, most importantly, time together to celebrate their accomplishments and build excitement for the year ahead.

The “State of the Union” served as both a celebration of how far Randolph Early College has come and a reminder that there is always another goal to pursue.

With a score of 97 behind them and 98 in their sights, the Ravens are ready to soar even higher.
