On March 18, Level Cross Elementary School celebrated the donation of a new spirit rock to the school. The event was meaningful for several reasons. Building school pride and a sense of community begins early, and the spirit rock provides a fun and visible way for students and families to celebrate special events, recognize achievements, and show their school spirit.
The celebration also gave students an exciting opportunity to learn about careers in the Career and Technical Education (CTE) field. With the support of partners like Martin Marietta, Guy M. Turner and Samet Corporation, students were able to observe the operation of different types of machinery and learn how these tools are used in real-world jobs. Partnerships like these help introduce students to future career possibilities while strengthening the connection between schools and the community.
