Randleman High School Mock Trial Team Makes Impressive Regional Debut

The first Mock Trial team at Randleman High School, an extension of the Law and Public Safety course, competed in the regional N.C. Mock Trial Competition at the Guilford County Courthouse in High Point on Saturday, February 7, 2026. Randleman fielded two teams made up of students from all grade levels, who dedicated countless hours of preparation both in and out of the classroom.

This opportunity began during the 2024–25 school year, when a group of students wanted to take what they had learned and further develop their passion for law and courtroom procedures. The teams fell just short of reaching the finals and earning a chance to compete for a state championship. This is a monumental accomplishment for students participating in a brand-new program and competing in a new competition.

The competition included 130 teams from across the state.
