The Raven Recycling program at Randolph Early College High School launched last year and made an impressive start—recycling 1,864 items by the end of the first quarter. The group is excited to report that in just the first nine weeks of this school year, they have already surpassed that number with 2,180 items recycled!
The program accepts a variety of items, including plastic bottles, glass bottles, plastic cups, cans, and miscellaneous containers like empty wipe containers. Each week, SNHS officers and members gather recycling bins from around the school, carefully rinse and sort the items by type, and track the totals.
The RECHS Raven Recycling team extends a heartfelt thank-you to everyone for their continued support in making this initiative a success!
