Attention High School Seniors - Scholarship Opportunity below!

Due to the forecast of extremely low temperatures in the early morning
hours and concerns about student safety, especially with regard to students waiting at bus stops, the Randolph County School System will operate on a two-hour delay tomorrow, 12/15/25.

The Randolph County School System was recognized last week at the CTE Directors’ Fall Conference for our students earning 9,443 credentials during the 2024–2025 school year, placing us 8th in North Carolina among 115 PSUs. It is worth noting that the seven school systems ahead of us each serve well over 20,000 students. This accomplishment also reflects an impressive increase of 2,074 credentials from the 2023–2024 school year.

Our school system also achieved a credential attainment rate of 72.45%, representing the percentage of credentials earned out of those offered. Both the total number of credentials earned and our attainment rate for 2024–2025 are the highest in our school system’s history.

A BIG THANK YOU to our students, CTE staff, counselors and administrators who play a vital role in CTE program development and in making credentialing a natural and expected part of their campus culture. While not every credential directly impacts future job placement, each one contributes to building student skills, knowledge, and résumé strength.

🎯 ACT Success Starts Here!

The Randolph County School System kicked off the first Mastery Prep ACT Boot Camp of the 2025–2026 school year at Wheatmore High School, and it was a huge success!

MasteryPrep’s ACT Boot Camp gives students the strategies, tips, and confidence they need to perform their best on test day. During the session, students learned how to tackle tough questions, manage their time, and boost their scores.
