Student with an EMS worker on career day.

On March 26th, our students spent the day exploring an exciting world of career possibilities! Throughout the day, they rotated through a variety of interactive stations led by some of the best professionals our community has to offer.

Students got hands-on with all kinds of experiences — they held bunnies 🐰, planted their very own plants 🌱, tried their skills as fast-talking auctioneers 🎤, and watched incredible K-9 demonstrations in action 🐕‍🦺! It was a full day of learning, laughing, and imagining the future.

Our Career Day featured amazing sessions led by:

  • Tyler Motley – RCS Bus Garage

  • Drew Wilson – RN at Moses Cone Hospital, Neuro Trauma ICU

  • Brian Hunt – Mechanic

  • Randolph County EMS

  • Allison Walker Allen – Randolph County 4-H

  • Sarah Fuller – RCS Middle School and Early College CDC

  • Richie Hughes Auction and Real Estate

  • Uwharrie Ridge AG – Carlee Krumm-Castaneda and students

  • Morgen English – RCC Student Life and Recruitment Specialist

  • Bryan Lewis – Welder

  • Randolph County Sheriff's Office

  • Larry Ferree – Tow Trucks

  • Uwharrie Ridge 6-12

  • Kona Ice – (because every epic day deserves a sweet ending! 🍧)

We are beyond grateful for the incredible community members who generously gave their time, talents, and energy to make Career Day unforgettable. Our students absolutely loved every moment!
