Showing up matters—and Trindale Elementary students proved it!

Trindale Elementary is celebrating a strong year of student attendance, finishing with an impressive 94.8% average attendance rate. The achievement reflects a schoolwide commitment to making every school day count and recognizing students for consistently showing up ready to learn.

Throughout the year, attendance was more than just a number. Trindale found creative ways to make coming to school something worth celebrating. Students with strong attendance enjoyed special incentives including Bubbles and Chalk on the Blacktop, extra recess, and a STEM challenge.

A little friendly competition also helped keep the excitement going. Each month, classes battled for bragging rights and recognition as the class with the best attendance, encouraging students to work together toward a common goal.

Behind the celebrations was a true team effort. Teachers, the principal, the school incentive team, data manager, secretary, instructional assistants, and other staff members all played a role in encouraging students and families to make regular attendance a priority.

The 94.8% attendance rate represents more than students being present in their classrooms. Each day at school provides another opportunity to learn, build relationships, participate in activities, and remain connected to the school community.

With another school year underway, Trindale hopes to build on that success, continue celebrating students who make attendance a priority, and perhaps even push that 94.8% a little closer to 100%.
