Southeastern Randolph Technocats Earn 3rd Overall and State Coding Championship at BRICKED Competition

The Southeastern Randolph Middle School Technocats showcased their talent, teamwork, and determination at the BrickEd State Robotics Competition held on Saturday, May 16, 2026. Competing against some of the top middle school robotics teams from across the state, the Technocats earned an impressive 3rd place overall finish while also capturing 1st place honors in Coding.

The competition was incredibly competitive from start to finish, with final scores separated by only single digits. Every round mattered, and the Technocats consistently demonstrated strong problem-solving skills, precision programming, and outstanding teamwork under pressure. Their success in the Coding category highlights the students’ ability to think critically, troubleshoot quickly, and create effective programming solutions that helped their robot perform at a high level throughout the event.

The achievement reflects countless hours of preparation, practice, and dedication from the students and their coach, Ms. Trogdon. Earning a top-three overall finish at the state level is a tremendous accomplishment and a testament to the growing STEM opportunities and innovation taking place at Southeastern Randolph Middle School.
