If you haven’t already registered your child for Kindergarten, don’t wait! Families registering new Kindergarten students should also complete transportation requests early. Waiting until the last minute to register may delay bus service at the start of school.

🚍 RCSS is planning for the 2026-2027 school year! Make sure your child's transportation request is on file!

If your student will need bus transportation at the beginning of the school year and you're unsure whether a request has been submitted, please contact your child's school as soon as possible.

📅 Transportation requests must be submitted by July 31, 2026 for students to ride the bus during the first two weeks of school. Requests received after July 31 will not be eligible for bus service until after Labor Day.

On May 15, RCSS School Nutrition Department attended the Farm-To-School Calendar Award Ceremony in Raleigh. Asher Hill at Hopewell won the contest. His picture of a crop dusting plane will be in the 26-27 farm-to-school calendar. His teacher is Cori Cagle. Congratulations Asher!
