Today is School Lunch Hero day and we have two remarkable heroes at Farmer Elementary. Ms. Alice Davis and Ms. Donna Underwood work each day to ensure our students have a nutritious breakfast and lunch. They don't wear capes but they are superwomen in our book! If you see Ms. Donna and Ms. Alice please thank them for all they do for Farmer!

On Friday, February 27th Farmer Kindergarten students held a very special celebration. They held their Letterland celebration to show off that they have learned all of their letters and letter sounds.

Students dressed up as a character from Letterland and told the crowd what their letter sounds like.

From Annie Apple to Zig Zag Zebra they all looked adorable and very proud to show off what they have learned!

Farmer recently held a parent night with the theme of Science Makes Smart Cookies. 2nd and 3rd grade students sang several cookie themed songs and all classroom teachers had science themed activities in their classrooms.

A few lucky students even won giant cookie cakes when their parents completed a survey at the end of the night!

Parents, teachers and staff had a great evening and enjoyed eating a few cookies 🍪

February 12th was the 100th day of school and Farmer staff and students had a blast celebrating all the hard work they have done this year. Staff and students donned their best canes, pearls, curlers and white hair. Students also worked on math activities focused on the number 100.

Reaching the 100th day of school is an achievement and we are proud of all the progress our students have made this year!
