INTERNET SAFETY

This web site is designed to provide links for tips on safe surfing and internet use. It is very important for parents to talk with their children about Internet Safety. The schools are doing their part in teaching our students to be safe online. Parents, please help us keep your children safe by staying up to date on Internet Safety.

Internet Safety: 2014 Resource GuidRecent data has indicated that 15 percent of our North Carolina students have experienced electronic bullying. Under the direction of the Children’s Safety Network and funded by the Maternal and Child Health Bureau and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, a taskforce was assembled, including several members from North Carolina’s Department of Health and Human Services and the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction to create this useful guide. The Internet Safety: 2014 Resource Guide, found below, contains the latest information that we hope you will find helpful.
