Level Cross "Pennies for Patients"
Level Cross Elementary School
Posted On: Monday, January 01, 2018

January 8, 2018 we will begin the Pennies for Patients fundraiser. Our school has decided to take on blood cancers! We are raising funds to help The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society fund life-saving research. Did you know that in 1964, the five-year survival rate for children with the most commonly diagnosed pediatric leukemia was 3%? Today it's approximately 90%.

Students are to collect money for the  Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and turn their collected money into the classroom box. We will come around twice to collect classroom boxes. The fundraiser will run until January 19th. If you would like to donate online please use the following link: http://events.lls.org/pages/nc/LevelCrossElementarySchool-2018

Together we can find a cure!
