Open House Schedule 2020-2021

Archdale Elementary
Drive-thru Open House is on Thursday, 8/13, 4-6 pm, for all grade levels.

Classroom teachers are reaching out to each family on their rosters by phone beginning 8/10 to make a positive two-way contact and will relay information about a virtual open house option during the day on August 13. Teachers will be meeting via Google Meet with families during the day. Also, virtual tours of each classroom will be posted on the school website. The plan is to have these uploaded by the morning of August 13.

Coleridge Elementary
11:00 am-12:00 pm and 4:30-6:00 pm. This will be all virtual. Google meet times will be sent by Class Dojo and email.

Farmer Elementary
A virtual open house is available to parents by noon on Thursday Aug 13 (messages will be recorded so parents can access them when they are able). We will also have a drive-thru open house on August 13 at the following two times: 8-10 AM and 3-5 PM.

Franklinville Elementary
Drive through Open House August 13, 4:30-6:00
Virtual Open House options - 11:30 am or 6:15 pm on August 13

Grays Chapel Elementary
The plan is for teachers to video their Open House welcoming and information to parents and hopefully post via grade level on https://gc.randolph.k12.nc.us/. We are planning on having a drive through Open House on Thursday as well. Friday will be for follow-up and for teachers contacting students/parents via Google Meets, Class Dojo, and phone calls.

Hopewell Elementary
4-6 pm - drive through event. Teachers will also do an introduction video and set up times to meet remotely with parents who are not able to come through the drive through.

John Lawrence Elementary
Drive-through open house, Thursday, August 13, K-2nd will be 4:00-5:30 and 3rd-5th grade will be 5:45-7:15.

Level Cross Elementary
5:00-6:00 pm: K-2 Drive Thru-main driveway, 3-5 Drive Thru-bus parking lot

K-5 Virtual Open House with classroom teacher 12:00 pm or 6:15 pm.

Liberty Elementary
Virtual open house videos on https://lib.randolph.k12.nc.us/ by August 12. Drive thru August 13, 4:00-630. Google Meets August 13 at 11:00 am Friday at 2:00 pm.

New Market Elementary

Ramseur Elementary
In addition to the virtual Open House (Each teacher will record and it will be posted on https://ram.randolph.k12.nc.us/) on August 13, there will be various ways we reach out to our students. We will host a ‘Meet the Teacher Drive-In’ event also on Thursday, August 13th. Each grade level will have a 1 hour slot for this Drive-In event! This event will be a drive in and park style to give parents a little time to fill out needed paperwork and meet the teacher.

Randleman Elementary
Virtual and a drive-thru. Kindergarten will be 4:00-6:00 pm; 1st and 2nd grade will be 3:00-5:00 pm; 3rd and 4th grade will be 5:00-7:00 pm

Seagrove Elementary
Virtual drive-up open house on August 13. We have two "Meet the Teacher" sessions set up at 10:00-11:30 am and 4:30-6:00 pm. Parents and students will drive up to their designated grade level parking lot. Teachers will be there to greet their students and give parents/students the information they need to start the school year.

Southmont Elementary
Southmont’s Virtual Open House Presentations will be posted to DoJo on August 13 by 10:00 am so families can view it at a time of their preference. We will hold a drive-thru "Meet the Teacher" event during the original Open House hours, Thursday, August 13, 4:00pm - 6:00pm.

Tabernacle Elementary
Drive-through open house from 11-2 and 4-7.
Also a virtual Open House as well for those that can not make it.

Trindale Elementary
There will be a drive-by for Pre-k, Kindergarten, and all the new students. All the other students who have been at the dale will get a scheduled time to do a face-to-face Google Meet with the teacher (they will schedule a time that works for both parties) and the teachers are creating a video of what their classroom is like, expectations, and who they are. They will share that video with all of their parents when they call on Monday to tell them what day they are on for this year.

Trinity Elementary
Drive-through event August 13, 11:00 am-1:00 pm and 5:00 pm-6:30 pm. K/1 grade teachers in the bus rider line, 2/3 grade teachers in the car rider line, 4/5 grade teachers in Braxton Craven Middle School parking lot. Teachers will also send out a virtual video to their students introducing themselves to their class.
