Read Across America Week 2025 has come to an end. Don't worry, March is National Reading MONTH! Yesterday wrapped up our week long celebration of reading with Idiom Day!

There will be a teacher workday on Friday, March 14 - no school for students.
The opening reception for Youth Art Month was held yesterday at the Randolph Arts Guild in downtown Asheboro. Student artwork will be on display throughout March. The exhibit is free and open to the public.
"Oh, The Places You'll Go!" Because reading is relaxing! We were dressed for vacation and some relaxation today! Tomorrow looks like it may be a little "hairy"... as we celebrate "The Lorax" with mustache day!!
Today we celebrated "On Beyond Zebra" and were WILD about reading!!! There was a lot of animal print and camouflage at Coleridge today!!
Tomorrow is "Oh, the Places You'll Go" - Reading is Relaxing Day. Dress like you're going on vacation or a tacky tourist.
If you didn't get a chance to visit our Book Fair in person...No problem! Keep the party going at our Book Fair online. All book purchases over $25 ship free and every purchase benefits our school until Mar. 6th!

Even though we do not have an evening event scheduled for this week, I have had several parents reach out about coming to the book fair after school. If you are headed to Chick-Fil-A Night tonight and want to stop by the fair on your way, I will stay open until 5:00 today.

Congratulations to our Coleridge Battle of the Books team!! After some tough competition, they are advancing to the District's Elementary Battle of the Books Finals competition! It will take place on March 13 at 9:00 a.m. at RCC. Goooo, Rockets!! 🚀🚀

February is Career and Technical Education (CTE) Month, and the Randolph County School System wants to express our heartfelt gratitude to our Career and Technical Education staff, including Career Development Coordinators and Central Services support staff. These dedicated individuals work tirelessly to prepare our students for the workforce and provide them with valuable opportunities to explore a wide variety of career paths. Through their efforts, they not only teach and mentor but also actively collaborate with community leaders, local businesses, and industry partners to ensure our students' success.
