To be eligible for Randolph County Schools Driver Education, a student must attend a public, private, or home school that is located in Randolph County Schools District.

Christian and Private schools:  If a student lives in Randolph County, but attends a school located in a surrounding county or in Asheboro, that student must take driver education in that system and according to their rules.  Example:  Fayetteville Street Christian School is located inside the Asheboro City Schools district.  Students who attend a Christian school located in Randolph County but outside the Asheboro school district and wish to take a book work class can register for a RCSS driver education class.

Home Schools: There are two school districts within Randolph County. They are Randolph County Schools and Asheboro City Schools. You are eligible to take driver education if your home school address is within the Randolph County Schools district. To determine which district your home school is located in, you need to email me a copy of the Official Non-Public Home School Registration Record. Please include the student's name in the email. This must be done before you will be considered for a seat in a driver education class.  cleglue@randolph.k12.nc.us
