How to purchase a book : Our yearbook company is Walsworth. The website is www.walsworthyearbooks.com. You can click on the link on the main site of the web page or the link above to pay online. You may also download an order form on the left side of the page and bring it by the school filled out with a check made payable to Wheatmore High School.
The yearbook room is the "drafting room" D-134. It is the last classroom on the right before the cafeteria. Yearbook is 3rd block so if you have any questions you can come by before or after your lunch.
When will books be delivered? We are hoping the books will be delivered the beginning of May. You will receive your yearbook after the yearbook presentation (tentatively set for May 14th)
Do I need to keep my receipt? Yes, this is your proof of purchase. Also save any confirmation emails from Walsworth if you order online.
Can I have my name on my book? Yes , you can purchase name stamping which is when your name is directly printed on the cover of your book or an I tag which is a metal plate that can be attached to your book. Both are the same price: $8 per line and $6 for icons. Only books preordered may be personalized.
Do Seniors get their books early? Everyone will get their books the same day (distribution day) However if there are 2 yearbook presentations seniors will attend first and be released to pick up their yearbooks.
Can I return a book after I purchase it? No, all sales are final.
Can I buy a book when they come in? Yes, if books are available. There will be a limited amount of books ordered so if you want to make sure to get a yearbook it is best to buy it early....The earlier you purchase a book the cheaper it is!
Can I purchase an old yearbook? Only if they are available. There are currently no 2009-2010 books left!
Where and when are Senior portraits taken? 2010 senior portraits are taken with Lifetouch-Prestige. They will schedule 3 times to come out to the school to take portraits. If you do not make your appointment you are automatically rescheduled for the next date. Portrait schedules are always posted online. If you do not have your picture taken, you will be responsible for going to the studio or you will not be in the yearbook.
Can I use another photographer? No. Lifetouch Prestige combines all the portraits on one DVD that is sent to Walsworth publishing. We have to have consistency throughout theyearbook so it is required that all seniors use the same photographer for their yb portrait.been printed, we can order photo labels that can be placed in your book and friends books.
How do I purchase a Senior Ad? Senior ads can also be purchsed through the links on the website or through the school. The price for the ad is cheaper when purchased online because you must digitally upload your photos and text which makes it much easier for the staff to create your ad. If you want to purchase your ad through the school you will need to bring all of your photos and text in an envelope as well as a check written to Wheatmore High School.
Can I design my own senior ad? We are not allowing students to design individual ads this year to make sure we keep consistency throughout the book and only use images of high resolution. If you would like to sketch out an idea for your ad you can bring it by the yearbook room along with your images. If you order online you must submit an idea with one week of purchase.
Will I get to see my ad? Yes, for every ad purchased, a PDF of the ad will be sent to the contact email. Ads will not be submitted until they have gotten approval from the parent.
