Sophomore English is concentrated on world literature and writing.  We will read literature from around the world concentrating on countries other than the British Isles and the United States of America.  We will also spend time preparing for North Carolina sophomore writing assessment. 

You will be able to find handouts for our units here.  I will also post notes that were used in class for you to have.  Links to valuable websites may also be available.  If you think of something you think would be useful on the page, please let me know. 

Ever wish you could have a Do Over??  Now you can.  Monday is do over day for homework assignments and class work.  If you forgot to do your homework or if you scored a 5 or less on an assignment, schedule a do over day within two weeks of the assignment to replace the grade.  Only students who come to do over day will be allowed to replace the grade.  Or you can come to Tiger Time and receive the same benefits!
