Consider giving your current or rising kindergartener the "Gift of a Second Language!"
Hopewell Elementary partnered with Splash!, a VIF (Visiting International Faculty program) in 2007 to offer Spanish Immersion to interested families. There are currently five classrooms where students are taught the NC Standard Course of Study in Spanish. These students should be bilingual by the end of their fifth grade year. In addition to learning a new language, the students are also learning about the countries and cultures of their Visiting International Faculty. Parents of rising kindergarteners and first graders may contact the school for more information about the program. More information on Spanish Immersion can also be found here.
