I am a graduate of Gardner-Webb University with a Masters degree from Appalachain State University.  Certifications are held in Early Childhood Education K-6 and Reading K-12.  I received National Board certification in 2004 in the area of Early Childhood Generalist.  My experience includes  teaching Kindergarten, First grade and Third Grade as well as Reading specialist in grades K-8.  Special training in Reading Recovery was completed in 1993-94 and Leveled Literacy Intervention training was completed in 2008.   I love teaching and sharing my love of reading books.
