The 5 W's of AR...

Who: Any Student K-5 can take a test!
What: Accelerated Reader Program!
When: Planned times (in classroom) and after school with their parents (in Media Center).
Where: In the classroom or Media Center!
Why: To earn points for our school goal and student's personal goal!

"Reading is fun, like going on a trip...so read a lot and give Mrs. Wallace a dip!"

Our overall school goal this year is 8000 points! If we reach our school goal we will be "dunking" Mrs. Wallace, our principal, in the dunking booth! The student in each grade level with the highest points will get three balls to throw at the target to dunk her. So, with your help we can let Mrs. Wallace take a dip at the end of the year! The students also earn rewards for points they earn reading the books and taking the AR tests. Once a month starting in December we will have the students visit the AR store and spend their points they have earned.
