2.      All past due school fees MUST be paid before a parking permit will be issued.

3.      PARKING FEES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE!

4.      Early graduates:  The early graduate permit is $12.50. A schedule must be provided at the time of the application to verify early graduation.  Once a student graduates early, the office will resell their parking space to a student on the waiting list.  Early graduates may NOT resell their space to any other student, and they need to turn their permit into the front office.

5.      Payments by check should be made payable to ERHS and should include a functioning telephone number and driver license number of the check signer.  If a check for payment is returned for insufficient funds, an additional $25.00 service fee will be applied and the parking privilege will be subject to revocation.

6.      Any falsification of information on the parking application will result in the loss of parking privilege & parking fee.

7.      Parking permit applications will be available to licensed drivers with a valid North Carolina license.

8.      All students who park a motor vehicle on the school campus must display a current permit.  Students who fail to display the permit will be ticketed ($10) or can have their permit revoked.

10.  Vehicles must be parked in assigned spaces.  The only places available for student parking are in the student lots.  Students may not park on the bus lot or in front of the school.  Vehicles parked in the wrong space or in an unauthorized area are subject to be towed at the owner’s expense.  Students may be subjected to revocation of their parking privileges or will be denied a parking pass for the remainder of the school year.

11.  Students with excessive tardies will lose their parking privilege for up to two weeks or the remainder of the school year at the discretion of administration if tardies to class persist.

12.  Students caught skipping school or smuggling other students off campus will result in the immediate loss of parking privilege.  No second chances, no refunds.  The parking spot will be reassigned to a student on the waiting list.

13.  Backing into spaces is not permitted.

14.  The safe operation of motor vehicles is required.  Vehicles must not travel in excess of 10 miles per hour while in the parking lots.  Seat belts are required for drivers and all passengers.

19.  Only one permit will be issued per student.  Students may register additional vehicles.  The permit may be moved from one registered vehicle to another, but may NOT be sold or loaned to another student for his/her use.  The penalty for doing so is revocation of parking privileges.  Students may NOT share spaces.
