FRIDAY, JANAURY 20 8:00 – 11:30 RETESTING (IF NEEDED)
FINAL EXAMS COUNT 25% of the OVERALL Grade for the Course.
Students:
1. Are scheduled to take test(s) surveying their knowledge and mastery of subject-related concepts;
2. Should attempt each multiple choice question;
3. Should bring 2 sharpened No. 2 pencils;
4. Will be provided NCDPI Testing Program issued approved graph paper when applicable;
5. Will be provided NCDPI Testing Program approved calculators when applicable;
6. Should NOT bring extra blank paper, dictionaries, reference books, text books, cell phones, mp3 players, cameras, music, thesauruses, or smartpens;
7. Will be provided with test results in a timely manner;
8. Taking an Algebra 1, Biology, or English 1 NC End-of-Course Exam who does not score at least a level 3 will be contacted by their classroom teacher regarding remediation and retesting times and dates.
9. Are encouraged to make arrangements for transportation needs during exam days as the buses will run on a regular schedule.
EOC, CTE, and County Required Exams
Students are NOT exempt from the following exams:
The following courses have a required, NC State End-of-Course Exam: Algebra 1, Biology, and English 1.
The following courses have a required, Randolph County Exam: Foundations of Algebra 1, Algebra 2, and Geometry.
The following CTE courses are being taught this semester and have a required, NC State CTE Final Exam: Agriscience, Ag Mechanics 1, Ag Mechanics 2 (Small Engines), Allied Health 1, Animal Science 1, Animal Science 2 (Small Animals), Biomedical Technology, Carpentry 1, Carpentry 2/3, Excel and Access, Foods 1, Health Team Relations, Masonry 1, Multimedia and Webpage, Parenting and Child Development, Teen Living, Word, Ppt and Publisher.

Teacher-Made Exams
Students could be exempt from teacher-made exams.
The following courses are being taught this semester and have a teacher-made exam: AP Bio 2, AP Chemistry, AP Euro History, AP US History, Advanced Functions and Modeling, Ceramics, Civics & Economics, Honors Civics & Economics, Curriculum Support, English 2, Honors English 2, English 3, Honors English 3, English 4, Honors English 4, Earth Environmental Science, Honors Earth Environmental Science, Honors Chemistry, ESL, Intro Calculus, Intro T & I, JROTC (all levels), Media Tech, Photography, Physical Science, Spanish 1, H Spanish3/4, Tech Math 2, US History, Honors US History, Visual Art 1, Visual Art 2, World History, Honors World History, Yearbook.
Students enrolled in any course listed above are Exam Exempt provided they have LESS THAN 2 absences (excused or unexcused and including tardies) in the course AND MUST BE PASSING THE COURSE! Students who have missed more than 2 days (excused or unexcused) or who are failing a course MUST take a final exam!
Exams Given Early
Dance – Performance Exam (takes place prior to final exams)
Band and Colorguard – Performance Exam (takes place prior to final exams)
Music – Performance Exam (takes place prior to final exams)
Physical Education Classes – Performance Exam and/or Written Exam (given during class prior to final exams)
