Ashley Kalish
School Psychologist Intern
Hello!
My name is Ashley Kalish and I am the School Psychologist Intern serving Archdale-Trinity Middle School. I am at ATMS every Wednesday and other days during the week as needed. I am new to North Carolina but I am really enjoying it so far! I grew up in Georgia and attended graduate school in Alabama. I graduated from Georgia Southern University with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology in 2006. Then I attended The University of Alabama for graduate school and recently graduated with a Masters of Arts in Educational Psychology-School Psychometry in May 2009. After completing my yearlong internship with Randolph County Schools this year I will earn a Education Specialist in Educational Psychology- School Psychology from the University of Alabama in May 2010.
I predominantly work with students in the Exceptional Children program by doing academic and behavioral interventions and psychoeducational testing to determine the needs of EC students. I also consult and serve as a member of the pre-referral A-team here at ATMS.
Please feel free to contact me at akalish@randolph.k12.nc.us or at my county office desk at 318-6082.
