Let me introduce myself. I have been teaching Elementary School students for 36 years. I have taught  at Archdale Elementary  since 1990.  I attended High Point University for under graduate work and later I received a Masters Degree in Elementary Education from UNC-Greensboro.  Also, I have been a National Board Certified Teacher for the past ten years.  Yes, I love children, teaching children, and learning!

    I have been married to Mr. Kellum for 39 years. We have two grown, married sons who have given us six beautiful grandchildren (Ethan, Wes, Emma, Holden, Bella, and Becks). I love spending time with my family and friends. Outside of school, I am active in my church, enjoy reading, doing yard work, and eating out at nice restaurants with friends. Traveling to Virginia and Delaware is very high on my list because that is where my grands live.:)
