Seagrove is a close-knit community, an attribute which has endured over the years and is evident in its ties to Seagrove School which celebrates its 100th anniversary on Saturday.

Randolph County Schools has scheduled three fall public forums. The emphasis of these forums includes: School Calendar, 2012-2013 Budget Forecast, Race to the Top, Accountability (ABC's/AYP), and System-wide Accreditation (SACS) Implementation.
