School Contact and Registration Information
To register for driver education book work at the school, students in the public high schools will listen for announcement(s) made over the school's public address system. This announcement(s) will alert students that a driver education class is scheduled to start. Students will be told when and where the registration will take place. The announcement(s) will also tell students that to be eligible your birthdate must come before a certain date. In each high school, there is a driver education contact person. Private school students are afforded the same opportunity to take driver education as are public school youth. Registration in the private schools will be announced by school officials. Students in the various private schools should direct questions to their driver education contact person:

Home School Registration
Parents of home-schooled students may register their home-schooled students by going to DE Class Schedule and Registration where online registration can be done or by calling the Driver Education Office at (336) 318-6025. Students must be at least 14 1/2 years old and must attend a home-school that is located within the Randolph County schools school district. (NOTE: The student will take driver education based on where the student attends school, NOT where the student lives. Students attending school at Britain Academy are not eligible for driver education in the Randolph County Schools because Britain Academy is located in Davidson County. Britain Academy students are eligible to attend driver education in Davidson County.)
