See New "Uwharrie Redesign" Video

Beginning with the 2017-2018 school year, Uwharrie Middle School will expand to a 6-12 school by adding one additional grade per year with maximum enrollment of 75 high school students per grade. This just-released, 5-minute video shares highlights about the new school, with comments from students and school staff!

The Uwharrie Redesign initiative was updated at the Board of Education Work Session on February 20, 2017. See complete details here.

The project was also recently featured in a Courier-Tribune article and a Fox 8 video.
