Grays Chapel hosts mystery servers for National School Lunch Week

Grays Chapel Elementary School Celebrated National School Lunch Week October 10-14

Randolph County School System (RCSS) Assistant Superintendent Marty Trotter, alongside our school nutrition manager, Lisa Cole, kicked off our celebration by serving lunch as our mystery guest server on Monday, October 10.  RCSS Assistant Superintendent Cat Berry and Randolph County Board of Education Chair Todd Cutler served lunch as mystery guest servers on Wednesday, October 12.

All the excitement had our school nutrition staff dancing.  They put on performances throughout the week including “The Electric Slide,” “The Chicken Dance,” and “Whip Nae Nae”.  Some of our high school football players from Providence Grove High School heard we were having so much fun, they joined us on Friday to dance at lunch with our students before their homecoming game later that evening.
