Clean Sweep at Randleman Middle 5th Grade Academy is Underway! back button

Randleman Middle School 5th Grade Academy students, along with Bob Langston of the NC Zoo and The Ocean Conservancy, collaborate yearly to learn the effects of litter in the community. Students learn that even though the coast is 100-plus miles away, the decisions made locally can negatively impact the oceans around the world, especially since many of the waterways in North Carolina are directly connected to the Atlantic Ocean.
