JLE Now 7th in National Recycling Program's Drink Pouch Collection. back button

Some students and staff at John Lawrence Elementary School hope that “green” will become the new school color while they hope to earn a new playground by collecting and recycling drink pouches.  

To update the newspaper article from June, 2015 that chronicled the school's participation in this recycling program, JLE has now collected 110,825 drink pouches, which is the seventh highest total in the nation! The collection campaign has been extended to December 31, 2015.
