Farmer teacher named "Honored Educator"

Farmer teacher wins award

Congratulations to Thomas Martin, third grade teacher at Farmer Elementary School, on being named the “Lynda Petty Honored Educator” for 2017-18 by the Development Foundation of the NC Center for the Advancement of Teaching (NCCAT). This scholarship honors the late Lynda Petty, who dedicated her life to improving public education for Randolph County children. As scholarship recipient, Mr. Martin is able to attend the NCCAT program of choice. For more info about the program, please visit www.nccat.org.
