ATMS student to take part in Junior National Young Leaders Conference.

Zack Crites, a rising 8th grader at Archdale-Trinity Middle School, will attend the Junior National Young Leaders Conference (JrNYLC) in Washington, D.C. on July 31-August 5, 2016. He was nominated for this program by Wendy Hughes, 6th grade teacher at Braxton Craven Middle School.

Outstanding middle school students from across the United States will take part in this extraordinary leadership development experience. JrNYLC, an Envision program, provides an historical view of leadership and encourages young scholars to develop their own leadership skills and strategies for success in the 21st century.

Zack is a member of the ATMS Jr. Beta Club, baseball team, and wrestling team. During the 2015-2016 school year at ATMS, Zack earned A’s in all of his classes the entire year.  He is an active member of the Fairfield United Methodist Church youth group. He plays travel baseball with WM9 in High Point. Zack is the son of Ginger Crites of Archdale and Chris Crites, also of Archdale.

Zack is looking forward to his JrNYLC conference. He hopes to gain experiences and develop skills that will impact his future. Family members and friends donated in support of Zack’s trip to the Envision program.

Please see this press release from Envision for information about the conference.
