Uwharrie Middle Student Council reads to elementary school students.

On March 2, members of the Uwharrie Middle School Student Council visited Tabernacle and Farmer Elementary Schools to read aloud to elementary students.

This was in celebration of Read Across America Day, which is celebrated on Dr. Seuss's birthday each year. Angela Combs, the faculty advisor for student council, was the organizer of this special event. Both elementary and middle school students were excited to participate.
