This is the first of 4 pages of information about driver education.  Please read instructions carefully below to find out what path you should follow.  Registration for the book work class will be on the last page.

The state requirements for driver education are 30 hours of book work and 6 hours of driving experience.  The driving portion will be scheduled after all requirements of the book work have been met.

Registration for the November class is closed.  The next after school class will be in February with registration starting January 24.

A DE book work class will not be offered at Uwharrie Ridge High School until after the Easter break in April 2018.  Students wishing to take the November DE book work class should sign up for the Southwestern Randolph High School class.  Bus transportation will be offered by Randolph County from UR 6-12 to SWRHS for students wishing to take that class.

A Christmas break will be offered again this year.  Planned dates for the class are December 21, 22, 26, 27, and 28. Registration for this class has been delayed and is now planned to open November 15.  Click HERE to find out more information about the Christmas break class.
