Derek Clark Transportation Director

The focus of Randolph County School System Department of Transportation is to provide safe, reliable and timely transportation to and from school.

Today’s school buses are tougher and more carefully maintained than ever before. Our school bus drivers receive training in safety, security and bus management procedures.  They undergo regular drug and alcohol testing and receive regular driving record checks.  School bus traffic laws designed to protect students are strictly enforced.  In 2013, Randolph County School System began purchasing and installing stop arm cameras.

As a parent, my own children use our buses.  Please consider having your child(ren) ride a bus - it is the safest form of transportation to and from school.
