RCSS STAR Employee Awards
RCSS STAR Employees are school employees who take Responsibility, exhibit good Character, and are committed to Serving Students on an ongoing basis. These awards are presented monthly at Randolph County Board of Education meetings from September through February

Nomination Process
Using the criteria above, schools develop their own process for identifying, nominating, and selecting their RCSS STAR Employees.

Schedule
Each school will award two (2) RCSS STAR Employee awards per school year - one in the September/October/November time period and one in the December/January/February time period.

Awards Presentation
Each Board of Education meeting begins with an "Awards and Recognition" time. RCSS STAR Employees will be presented with a plaque during this time. Unless noted otherwise on the Board of Education meeting schedule, Board of Education meetings take place at 6:30 pm on the third Monday of the month in the Central Services Boardroom at 2222 S. Fayetteville St. in Asheboro. Board meeting dates/times are subject to change.

Award Sponsorship
The sponsor for the RCSS STAR Employee Awards program is Vickie Gallimore of Remax Central Realty in Asheboro. The sponsor pays for all of the plaques to be handed out during the school year.
