Random Acts of Kindness
New Market Elementary School
Posted On: Monday, February 12, 2018

During the week of February 12-16 New Market is celebrating Random Acts of Kindness Week by doing thoughtful activities each day! Check out some of the ways we are showing kindness and try out a few for yourself! Then share them to our Random Acts of Kindness Wall linked below! Let's see how many ways we can spread kindness!

Students watch and discuss a short video that describes acts of kindness. Students receive Kindness Cards to check off each random act of kindness they complete throughout the week.

Students will write a thank you note to a family member or adult in their lives.

Students and staff will share a compliment and a smile with someone.

Students will make thank you cards for our military men and women. Mrs. Bowie will be sending these overseas with her son who serves in the Army.

Students will reflect over the week of kindness and how they can keep it going throughout the rest of the school year.

What are some acts of kindness you are doing daily? We would love to hear about them! Share them on our RAK Padlet wall below!
