Mrs. Allen’s fourth grade class created Voki presentations, which are animated characters, as their final product in a collaborative research project with the UNCG media intern, Kelly Cecil, and Mrs. Allen. The students chose significant moments in North Carolina’s history from September’s OUR STATE magazine then researched their topic using NCpedia, an online encyclopedia about our state. They wrote scripts for their Voki character and then had fun creating a Voki character that represented their topic.
